What stays on your phone
Your vehicles, saved trips, and settings are kept in the app's own storage on your phone. They are not sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.
What the app asks the internet for
- Fuel prices, toll rates and the vehicle list. The app downloads these files from the project's GitLab Pages site. The requests carry nothing about you or your trips.
- Route planning (when you use it). The places you search for, and the start, stops and destination you choose, are sent to OpenRouteService to find places and driving directions. Map pictures come from MapTiler. Those services see the request and your IP address under their own privacy policies:
- OpenRouteService: openrouteservice.org/privacy-policy
- MapTiler: maptiler.com/privacy-policy
- Your location (only when you tap "My location"). It is used once to start a route from where you are and sent to OpenRouteService to name the place. It is not stored or tracked.
What the app does not do
- No account and no sign-in.
- No ads and no advertising ID.
- No analytics or crash reporting that sends data about you.
- Nothing is sold or shared.
Sharing
When you share a trip, the app hands the picture and text to the app you choose (Messenger, Viber and so on). What happens next is up to that app.
